摘要

Abstract

Sandalwood microcapsules were prepared by in-situ polymerization using urea-formaldehyde resin as the wall material and Tween 80 as emulsifier, and applied in xuan paper aroma finishing. The effect of the ways of emulsification and core-wall mass ratio in the low temperature polycondensation process on the morphlology of the microcapsules was investigated. Optimal conditions were summarized as; HC1 and NH4Cl were used as two-component curing agent, end point pH value was adjusted to 1, and keeping reaction till solidified completely at room temperature. The study results demonstrated that the prepared sandalwood microcapsules are with spherical shape,compact structure, embedding rate 11.44% , microcapsuling rate 34.32%. The flexibility and ink absorbency of xuan paper after aroma finishing is not deteriorated.
