摘要

Abstract

Objective; To study the effect of hypericum attenuatum Choisy. by surveying cerebral contents ( 5 -HT and 5 - HIAA) which exist in depressive model. Method : Establish chronic stress rats model of depression by singly housing and exposing to unpredictable stressors, and detect cerebral contents of monoamine neurotransmitters (5- HT and 5 - HIAA) with ELISA. Result;The high group of Hypericum attenuatum Choisy. (2. 88g/kg) could increase cerebral contents of 5 - HT and 5 - HIAA significantly. Conclusion;Hypericum attenuatum Choisy. plays a role of the antidepression, and the possible mechanism of hypericum attenuatum Choisy. for antidepressant effect may be involved in increasing contents of 5 - HT and 5 - HIAA.
