Application of Numerical Simulation Technology to the Gating System Design of Aluminum Alloy Die Casting

为了对铝合金压铸件选择最佳的浇注系统,利用数值仿真MAGMA软件对铸件两种不同进浇位置浇注系统方案的充型及凝固过程进行了模拟.对比分析两种不同方案的模拟结果,确定了从铸件平直边进浇的浇注系统设计方案,并经实际生产验证获得了良好的效果.

The filling and solidification process for two different pouring position gating system scheme of aluminum alloy die casting has been simulated by MAGMA numerical simulation software to select the optimum gating system. In comparison the simulation results of the two different schemes, the gating system of pouring position from straight edge into the casting were determined, and the scheme has a favorable effect in the verification of actual production.
