Abstract
[Objective] To analyze the relationship between solar radiation distribution characteristics and meteorology elements in Guangxi. [Method] By using observation data during 1995-2009, total solar radiation, sunshine distribution characteristics and annual variation of Guangxi were analyzed. Using observation data of Nanning~Station, annual, seasonal and monthly variation characteristics of net radiation were analyzed, as well as linear relationship between total radiation and low cloud amount, ground temperature. [Result] Total solar radiation in low latitude of Guangxi is higher than in high latitude, the order is Beihai > Nanning > Guilin; the variation amplitude of solar radiation in different region has significant difference with seasonal variation, indicating increase from north to south, summer > autumn > spring > winter, and total radiation is accordance with variation trend of sunshine hours. Total solar radiation has negative correlation with low cloud amount, positive correlation with sunny day and ground temperature. [Conclusion] The study will provide effective theoretical basis and data reference for climate research and solar resource development and utilization in Guangxi.
