Abstract
The components and working principles of SL3-1 double-skip rain sensor were introduced in detail, its structural compositions and the funclion of each part were also descried. In addition, combining with the experience of maintaining automatic stations for 6 years, the study laid special stress on analyzing possible causes of failure during the working process of the SL3-1 double-skip rain sensor, and also provided typical examples of that.
