How FDI Affects Structure of Industry in Quanzhou: An Empirical Analysis

Abstract
Foreign direct investment (FDI) is widely regarded as a catalyst for promoting regional economic development and ac- celerating the process of global integration. Based on an empirical prospective, how FDI impacts economic growth, how it affects the output and the internal structure of the three industrial departments in Quanzhou are analyzed, and then the effects of "squee- zing into" and "crowding out" of Quanzhou area's domestic investment, the employment effects and the technological spiUovers effects that FDI takes are all demonstrated. On exploring how FDI affects the structure of industry in Quanzhou, some theoretical reference about how to absorb and manage FDI for government departments is developed.关键词
