摘要

Abstract

The principle and application of the TIG deposition was reviewed in this paper. The characteristic,process principles of TIC deposition were introduced; the comparison of TIG deposition and other welding deposition methods such as manual arc welding, flame overlaying,plasma arc welding,laser welding,friction surfacing deposition were conducted. TIG deposition has the advantages of good protection effects,arc stability,less spatter,easy of getting good quality and reliable welding quality. The application of the TIG deposition in metal parts manufacturing repair and surface modification was also summarized. Several existing problems and development direction were put forward.
