摘要

Abstract

Depositional basin is taken as a main component in shallow part of earth system resulted in the interaction of crust and mantle, lithosphere and asthenosphere. Analysis of depositional basin not only reveals distribution of fossil resources, depositional-dominated ores, clastic aranium deposits, being directly helpful for resource exploration, but also provides a plentiful information and evidence for studying on regional tectonic evolution, important tectonic events, global environment changes. Development of basin a-nalysis shows clear transition from simple analysis on sedirnentology to integrated analysis of multidiscipli-nary, and from static elements analysis to process and dynamic analysis. Research topics of basin dynamics include basin fill, basin formation and evolution, and basin fluids analysis. Recently, great achievements have been made in deepwater sedirnentology, high-resolution sequence stratigraphic analysis, source to sink system, relationship between erosion variation and deep process in erosion area, continental margin dynamics, and basin fluid analysis.
