Study on the risk factors influencing repeated respiratory tract infection in Children

Abstract
Objective To discuss the risk factors influencing repeated respiratory tract infection in children.Methods 80 children with repeated respiratory tract infection in our hospital from February 2010 to December 2011 were selected as observation group while 80 normal children were selected as the control group.The immune function and levels of trace element in the blood between two groups were compared and analyzed.Results The average concentration of the iron in the blood of the observation group was(12.38 ± 2.76)μ mmol/L,the qualified rate was 48.75％,the concentration of the Calcium was (2.12 ± 0.24)μ mmol/L,the qualified rate was 58.75％;the concentration of zinc was(18.05 ± 11.74)μ mmol/L,the qualified rate was 61.25％.The average concentration of the iron in the blood of the control group was(16.53 ± 3.88)μ mmol/L,the qualified rate was 80％;the concentration of the Calcium was(2.57 ± 0.48)μ mmol/L,the qualified rate was 85％;the concentration of zinc was(29.33 ± 9.78)μmmol/L,the qualified rate was 75％.There were statistical significant differences in the two groups(P＜0.05).Conclusions The lack of the trace element in the blood is one of the risk factors influencing the repeated respiratory tract infection.关键词
