摘要

Abstract

Remote optically pumped amplifier (ROPA) system has been widely used in ultra-long span optical transmission system. In order to design optimal system structure, ROPA structure design simulation software is developed on the basis of MATLAB GUI. Its biggest advantage is that actual engineering parameters as the signal and the pump wavelength and loss coefficient ,optical transmission line length and pump power, the best RGU (Remote Gain Unit) position and RGU structure can be quickly and accurately designed.
