Abstract
Objective: To investigate the effects of electro-acupuncturing Zusanli acupoints (ST36) on the angiogenesis of intra-abdomi-nal adhesion tissues,and to find out the relationship between the protective effect of EA and the cholinergic anti-inflammatory pathway. Methods ;48 male Wistar rats were randomly divided into 6 groups with each of 8 :group A (the model group) , group B (the group of e-lectro-acupuncturing Zusanli acupoints) ,group C (the vagotomy group) ,group D (the group of electro-acupuncturing Zusanli acupoints and vagotomy) ,group E (a-bungatotoxin group) ,group F (the group of a-bungatotoxi and electro-acupuncturing Zusanli acupoints). Model of abdominal adhesion was produced according to Chiang's operative way,in which the appendix of cecum was scraped and a sili-cone path was fixed on the lateral abdominal wall;Group B-D and F were given three days electro-acupuncture at Zusanli acupoints with once of one hour;Group C and D were cut off Vagus nerve cord in bilateral abdominal cavity under the condition of aseptic condition after anesthesia; Group E and F were injected a-bungatotoxin into abdominal cavity after surgery. Rats in every group were put to death on the 10th day of surgery,then cecum adhesion tissue section were taken and made HE colouration,and were observed and photographed under Olympus. Five fields of view were randomly elected and determined for each section > then calculating number of capillaries in view fields, taking mean value as the last results. Results: After the 10th day of surgery tcecum tissues of all rats at every group presented in-crassation and contracture at varying degrees, and formed thick or thin adhesive band with round intestinal canal and mesentery- Microscopically 7 cecum tissues of every group showed hyperplastic capillaries, and comparing with group B, hyperplastic degree of capillaries were significantly higher in other five groups (P <0.01), Number of capillaries at cecum serosa layer in group B was obviously less than group A[ (20. 38 ±5. 40) vs. (45.43 ±6. 27) ,(P<0.01)] ; Number of capillaries of cecurn adhesion tissue in group F and D increased obviously comparing with group B (P <0.01) ,but there was no significant difference comparing with group A (P >0, 05). Conclusion: Electro-acupuncturing Zusanli acupoints can significantly inhibit the production of adhesion tissue of abdominal adhesion rats,then intervene the formation of abdominal adhesion of rats^and its mechanism may relate to cholinergic anti-inflammatory pathway.关键词
