摘要

Abstract

The function of fault diagnosis systems is to make judgments towards operation conditions and abnormalities of devices. Fault detection and isolation (FDD plays an important role in improving reliability and maintain capacity. Motivated by the undated theories and research products, this paper provides an overview of the state of the art of the methods of analytical model based, signal process based and knowledge based, which include basic fundamental, characteristics and applications. Research focuses and future trends of FDI are analyzed synthetically; some in-depth study issues in this fields are also discussed.
