Longitudinal stiffness of frame pier and its influence on longitudinal force on CWR

Abstract
In the high-speed railway bridge design of taking the frame pier as the substructure, to sim- plify the calculation of the longitudinal stiffness of the frame pier, the whole longitudinal stiffness ex- pression of the frame pier was derived considering the anti-push and torsional stiffness of columns and the beam bending stiffness. On this basis, the optimization methods of the parameters were investiga- ted. It was studied that lowering the longitudinal stiffness of the frame pier made an impact on beam- track interaction. The analysis shows: the longitudinal stiffness of frame pier can he made to increase 20% by the torsional stiffness. Compared with the normal reinforced concrete pier, the horizontal force on the frame pier is slightly lower and the rail braking force near it is larger. As much as possi- ble, the longitudinal stiffness of the frame pier should be close to the adjacent pier so as to decrease the longitudinal force on the rail.关键词
