摘要

Abstract

Nowadays, there are many codes for durability design of concrete bridges worldwide. According to the frameworks and contents of these codes, they can be divided into two categories, that is exclusive durability design code and concrete bridge design code which involves durability provisions. The general frameworks of several domestic durability design codes are discussed, and comparisons are made for the difference in design working life and environmental classification. Also the stipulations concerning design working life, environmental exposure classes and concrete cover are compared for concrete bridge design codes. Meanwhile, performance-based durability design philosophy and quantitative design methodology in DuraCrete are expounded. In conclusion, developing trends for durability design codes of concrete bridges are explored.
