摘要

Abstract

The finite-element analysis (FEA) software ANSYS is used to condense the FE model of containment vessels (CV) and containment inner structures (CIS) into one super-element by substructure procedure. Moreover, the contact element is constructed to simulate the non-linear behavior between CV and foundation slab. Based on the FEA model, nonlinear simulation is conducted by gradually increasing the seismic action. The output for displacement and stress of the heel and toe points of the FE model is proposed to study the coefficient of stability safety under the different seismic conditions. Then the safety assessment of seismic stability for CVs of advanced passive plants is acquired.
