Marine Liquid-Desiccant Evaporative-cooling Air-conditioning System and Its Performance Analysis

Abstract
A novel marine liquid-desiccant evaporative-cooling air-conditioning (A/C) system was con- strutted according to the characteristics of marine environment and shipping from energy utilization point of view. The performance of the marine liquid-desiccant evaporative-cooling A/C system was theoretical analyzed with different fresh air ratios under design conditions of the standard IS07547. It was found that the liquid- desiccant evaporative-cooling A/C system can satisfy the requirements of supply air and compared with the tra- ditional marine A/C system with primary return air the liquid-desiccant evaporative-cooling A/C system can save more than 60% energy consumption when fresh air ratio was larger than 40%. Therefore it can be con- eluded that the marine liquid-desiccant evaporative-cooling A/C system can take full advantages of large latent load of marine air-conditioning, abundant residual heat of ship and unlimited seawater to realize significant energy-saving.关键词
