Abstract
Objective To review the operative procedure and postoperative treatment of the single nostril transsphenoidal for pituitary adenomas. Methods The clinical data of 32 patients with the single nostril transsphenoidal approach for pituitary adenomas were retrospectively reviewed, and the surgery techniques and complications and were analyzed. Results Total removal was achieved in 23 cases, subtotal in 8 cases, and partial in 1 case. There was no serious complication and death case. Symptoms have improved to varying degrees after operation. Conclusion Single nostril transsphenoidal is a safe, convenient and minimal - invasive with fast recovery. It is an effective method for the treatment of pituitary adenomas.关键词
