Effects of Different Chemical Treatments on Seed Germination of Artemisia annua

Abstract
By studying the effect of NaCl,KNO3 ,PEG,H2O2 and GA3 with different concentrations on the germination index of Sweet Wormwood Herb seeds, the best approach was selected to provide the technical basis for raising Artemisia annua seedlings. Measuring the Artemisia annua seed germination potential (Gt) , germination rate (Gr) , germination index under tretment with different pharmaco - concentrations (Gi). (1) low concentrations of NaCl and KNO3 Stress had no significant inhibitory effect on seed germination, while high concentrations was disdvantgeous. (2) tretments with concentration of 30% of PEG, concentration of 0. 15% of H2O2 concentration of 10 ~ 30 mg/g of GA3 could significantly promote seed germination, seed germination rate and uniformity; treated with 20 mg/g of GA3, the seed germintion rate was 13. 77% higher than that of the control, and also higher than that of the other treatment groups. Compared with other treatments, seeds treated with 20 mg/g of GA3 had 13.77% higher germintion rate than that of the control and also higher than that of other groups, so it is the best concentration to soak seed.关键词
