摘要

Abstract

Combining MCNP5 simulation with mathematical computation and utilizing the axial symmetry of detector-crystal geometry, a source-less efficiency calibration method to an HPGe detector is established. The computer code based on this method can calibrate the efficiency of point sources and coaxial cylinder sources without need for MCNP5 in its using process and its runtime is 1s-1 min. The applicable energy range is 50 keV-3 MeV. Comparing self-written code's result with experimental data and MCNP5's simulation result, the error is below 12 percent and 7 percent respectively, which proves the method is feasibility.
