摘要

Abstract

Electronic wastes have properties of high production, serious hazardous and reusability, which have caused wide attention. As a result, e-wastes recovery becomes a hot research topic. Application of information technology for e-wastes will be the trend of the future development. In this paper, the radio frequency identification (RFID) technology and its wide applications based on its technical advantages of identification, accurate positioning and tracking in different fields were introduced. Then the application advantage of RFID technology for e-wastes recovery was reviewed emphatically from three respects, i.e. , improving efficiency of e-wastes recovery, being beneficial to whole processing management and recording the information of electronic products. Furthermore, its importance during the process of e-wastes recovery and management were analyzed. Additionally, based on the researches of the application of RFID technology in the collection and transportation of municipal solid waste, the informatization of e-wastes recovery in future was prospected.
