Effect of Time-delay and Colored Noise on a Bistable System Driven by Square-wave Signal

Abstract
The effect of time-delay and noise color on a bistable system subjected to constant force, dichotomous noise and square-wave signal is investigated. Under the adiabatic limit condition, by using the small delay-time approximation, the expression of the signal-to-noise ratio( SNR) of the system is obtained. It is found that the SNR varies non-monotonously with the delayed-time and the correlation of the colored noise. Moreover, the SNR curves present stochastic resonance phenomenon as a function of the intensity of dichotomous noise, the colored noise, the constant force and the amplitude of square-wave. The influence of the system parameters on the SNR is also studied.关键词
