摘要

Abstract

The chromosome segment introgression line (CSIL) IL - 10 - lwith high lint percentage, its acceptor parent Gossypium hirsutum genetic standard line TM - 1, and donor parent Gossypium barbadense H7124 were used as experimental materials to study the relationship between the characteristics of fiber initiation development and final lint percentage. The characteristics of fiber elongation initiation were investigated by scanning electron microscopy ( SEM). The total weight per seed, average length, weight per length unit and number per seed of mature fiber were measured. The results showed that the time of fiber elongation initiation was highly correlated with lint percentage, the earlier initiation of fiber elongation was benefit to the formation of higher lint percentage. The total weight per seed, average length, weight per millimeter and number per seed of mature fiber of IL - 10 -1 were all significantly higher than those of TM - 1. The correlation and path analysis showed that the total weight per seed, weight per millimeter and average length of mature fiber had close correlation with lint percentage. In conclusion, earlier protrusion and elongation initiation of fiber were propitious to the formation of good quality and higher lint percentage.
