Improvement Design of Ultrawide-Band Circular Disc Monopole Antenna
摘要
Abstract
The improved structures with multiple-ring, wavy-edge and resistive loaded circular disc for the ultra- wideband circular disc monopole antenna were put forward according to the application requirements in this paper. The effect of the various main parameters on the performance of the antenna was discussed through simulation. The photo of the improved antenna and measured performance were given out. The results showed that the multiple-ring structure could improve the wind resistance capability while maintaining the basic characteristics of the antennas, the monopole antenna with wavy-edge which could reject the higher frequency covered a frequency range from 3.1 10.6 GHz which was just the civil ultra-wideband communication range, and the resistive loaded circular disc antenna realized miniaturization by changing the surface current distribution. It was verified that the characteristic of the traditional monopole antenna was effective improved by the novel antennas which could realize the low wind load, high frequency suppression and miniaturization.关键词
