摘要

Abstract

Lake restoration from impoldering has proved to be an effective method for improvement on water environment in lakes.This paper presents a numerical analysis on the effects of water transfer on water quality,using a case study of the Yundong lake,a typical urban lake in Pearl river delta.A three-dimensional hydrodynamic and water quality model of shallow lakes was developed,and the field data of water quality were used to validate this model.The results show that the existing water quality features at present can be reproduced satisfactorily by the model,suggesting its applicability to the planning and management of urban lakes.Finally,we presents an application to assessment on the water quality changes caused by implementation of the transfer project.
