Abstract
Performances of large bidirectional submersible tubular pump system for pumping station of urban water diversion and drainage,were studied in this work,through numerical simulation of 3D turbulent internal flow in this system with a RNG k-ε turbulence model.Hydraulic performances were analyzed for different guide vanes.Calculations show that if short straight guide vanes are adopted,system performances meet the design requirements under both forward and reverse pumping modes,which was verified by the model test results.The verification includes a conclusion that in the lift range of 1.45-1.65m,the peak efficiencies of forward and reverse modes exceed 62.5%.Thus,numerical predictions of bidirectional pumping performances in high efficiency area are reliable and internal flow simulation is useful for optimization of the structure of pumping system.The pumping system recommended by this study has been successfully applied to a project for ecological water diversion and flood control.关键词
