Numerical simulation and experimental study of large particles movement characteristics in hydraulic lifting system
摘要
Abstract
Numerical simulation and experiment are carried out to recognize the movement characteristics of large particles in hydraulic lifting system. Detailed analysis is made on the velocity field, the axial velocity of particles and the radial velocity of particles in the system, and then a comparative analysis is also made between the result of the simulation and the data from the experiment. Meanwhile, both the suspension velocity and the settling velocity of the particles are studied as well. The results show that the axial velocity of particles presents a parabolic distribution along the pipe diameter with a very small absolute value of radial velocity and a suspension velocity less than the settling velocity.关键词
