摘要

Abstract

Guanosine-binding protein coupled receptors (GPCRs) belong to one of the largest super families of membrane proteins, with seven-transmembrane (7TM) domains. They mediate a wide range of physiological signals from the outside of the cell, which also are the targets for a large portion of pharmaceuticals drugs. The main researches of GPCRs focus on the structure, function and screening for drugs recently. Besides those, GPCRs also could be used as the response element for detecting of ligands. But it's difficulty extraction from organism because GPCRs with slowlybasal expression level in vivo. Consequently many researchers attempt to heterologous expression the GPCRs in vivo. The methods for high level expression GPCRs in different expression systems were reviewed. The aim is to provide some strategies for achieving high level and activated GPCRs from heterologous expression systems, laying foundations to probe the structure of GPCRs, relations between structure and function of GPCRs and to apply GPCRs in many research fields.
