普伐他汀治疗老年单纯收缩期高血压的疗效与安全性

摘要
Abstract
Objective To study the efficacy and safety of pravastatin on isolated systolic hypertension (ISH) in the elderly. Methods One hundred and two patients with ISH were randomly divided into the control group (n = 50) and the treatment group (n = 52), patients in both of the two groups were given 5 mg amlodipine, once per day, and patients in the treatment group were also added with 20 mg pravastatin, once per night. The blood pressure,pulse pressure (PP),the serum lipid index after treatment and cardio cerebral vascular events were determined within one-year follow-up. Results After one year treatment, the systolic blood pressure(SBP) and PP were significantly decreased in both groups (P ＜ 0.05), however, no significant change in the diastolic blood pressure (DBP) was found(P ＞ 0.05). A significant difference in the serum lipid index was found between these two groups(P ＜ 0.05). Obvious difference in the admission rate of cardiovascular causes and in the total cardiocerebral vascular events was observed within one year between these two groups (P ＜ 0.05, P ＜ 0.05), but no significant difference in the admission rate of cerebral causes in these two groups was found (P ＞ 0.05). Conclusions Pravastatin and amlodipine has the synergistic hypotensive effect on the elderly patients with ISH, which can reduce the PP, serum lipid level and cardiovascular events and offers a safe and reliable treatment, with less adverse reaction.
