Abstract
Objective To evaluate the survival rates and prognostic factors of patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma. Methods 238 patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma from April 1996 to March 2007 were enrolled in this study. Kaplan-Meier, Log-Rank, and Cox regression model were employed to analyze the survival rates, differences, and the prognostic factors, respectively. Results The 1, 3, 5, 8, and 10 years overall survival rates were 95.6%, 85.2%, 76.6%, 63.2%, and 58.3%, respectively. Age, T stage, N stage, and clinical stage were the prognostic factors identified by survival analysis. Cox analysis confirmed that age, T stage, and N stage were the independent prognostic factors. Conclusions Take the prognostic factors seriously may improve the survival rates in patients nasopharyngeal carcinoma.关键词
