摘要
Abstract
Objective To analyze the imaging findings and improve the level of understanding and diagnosis of spinal dural arteriovenous fistulas (SDAVF). Methods The MRI image data of 8 patients with SDAVF were analyzed retrospectively. Spinal angiography was done in all the patients to verify the diagnosis. Results Spinal MRI examination showed that most of the patients had spinal cord edema signal in 8 patients with SDAVF. A centrally located hyperintense signal on Tl-weighted images signify the swelling of the spinal cord and the hypointense"flow void "phenomena dorsal to the cord. The enlarged and tortuous veins were characterized in all the cases.The signal of spinal cord necrosis was seen in some patients. Conclusion MRI was a reliable diagnostic method in diagnosis of SDAVF, but catheter angiography was required to localize the fistula as well as the anglo-architectures, on which the mode of treatment depends.关键词
