Optimization of a New Environmental Compound Electrolyte System for Micro-Arc Oxidation on Magnesium Alloy
摘要
Abstract
A new environmental silicate-wolframate compound electrolyte system for micro-arc oxidation (MAO) of magnesium alloy was optimized using orthogonal experiment. The influence of electrolyte composition on the one week corrosion rate and surface quality of the MAO ceramic coatings was studied. A best electrolyte composition was obtained after orthogonal test. The surface and cross-section morphologies and electrochemical corrosion property of the MAO ceramic coating prepared in optimal electrolyte system were analyzed. The results indicate that the coating exhibited the best performance when the silicate-wolframate compound electrolyte system was composed of 15 g/L Na2SiO3 , 2 g/L Na2WO4 , 3 g/L NaOH and 8 mL/L glycerin.关键词
