Abstract
In this paper, a vehicle location and video surveillance system is given to help passenger service center supervise long-distance vehicles. Based on ARM Linux OS and ARM processor, the system collects video data through the USB camera and obtains location information from the GPS receiver. Then the collected data are compressed and coded through H. 264 to form a standard format suitable for network transmission. Finally, the data are sent to the monitoring service center through 3G wireless transmission module based on 3G technology. And thus the staff in the monitoring service center can see clear and fluent video images and know where the car is.关键词
