Abstract
In order to analyze the influence of current transformer saturation on relay unit, by means of harmonic analysis method, steady state characteristics and transient characteristic of current transformer saturation are introduced in combination with a example of differential protection misoperation caused by current transformer saturation. The influence of residual magnetism and primary current aperiodic componenton on current transformer transient state saturation is summaried. The influence of current transformer saturation on the operation of differential protection and over current protection is analyzed. Some preventive measures such as restriction of the short-circuit current, selection of the right current transformer and reduction of the current transformer load are also discussed to reduce the influence of the current transformer saturation on relay unit.关键词
