Performance analysis of free space optical communications based on hybrid noise model
摘要
Abstract
The influence of hybrid noise on Free Space Optical(FSO) communications systems that use photon counting is studied. The system is modeled with the consideration of coherent radiation, thermal radiation, background radiation and atmospheric turbulence. The Bit Error Rate(BER) with modulation of On-Off Keying(OOK) is deduced based on hybrid noise model. The validity of the proposed algorithm is proved by using Monte Carlo simulation. The simulation results show that the atmospheric turbulence and the noise are the main influence factors.关键词
