摘要

Abstract

Objective To develop a locator for foramen ovale puncturing in the radio frequency treatment for Trigeminal neuralgia. Methods The locator consisted of U feet, plunger, adjusting screw, angle turntable and puncture feet, etc. Spinning on the adjusting screw of the locator could make the plunger moving around, which fixed the locator on the skin of bateral temporal bone joint nodules. The position and angle of the angle turntable were conversed through the scale of the top bar. The puncture feet were used to control the direction and depth. Results The success rate of puncturing with locator was 75%, which was far higher than that of unarmed puncturing (40%). Conchusion The locator can improve the success rate of foramen ovale puncturing.
