Abstract
Objective To investigate the short-term effects of arthroscopic fixation with double-wire four tunnel on treatment of tibial insertion avulsion fracture of posterior cruciate ligament ( PCL). Methods Arthroscopic fixation with double-wire four tunnels was carried out in 12 patients with tibial insertion avulsion fracture of PCL. Drilling four bone tunnels from the medial tibial to the both sides of avulsion fracture block,and then penetration to the intra-articular cavity by one side of bone tunnels and rest the avulsion,pulled out the double-wire on the other side of tibial tunnels,then fixed on double wire under the tibial tunnels. Results Twelve patients were followed up for 6 to 12(mean 9.5) months. All fractures were healing without displacement and nerve injury at 6 weeks after operation. The result of posterior drawer test was negative. The Lysholm scores was 89.60 ±4.03 after surgery. Conclusion Arthroscopic fixation with double-wire four tunnels can be used in treating bony avulsion of PCL with its slight surgical trauma, stable fixation and reliable curative effect.关键词
