摘要

Abstract

The heat transfer performance under various operating conditions is the key factor for design, optimization and operation of a direct air-cooled condenser (DACC). Aim at one-row finned-tubes installed in a 1000 MW ultra supercritical air-cooled power plant, and on the basis of a wind tunnel built on site, the heat transfer performance of the finned-tube was researched. Steam flowed into finned-tubes on the wind tunnel was imported from the cold side of the steam turbine. Based on the experimental data, dimensionless correlations between Nusselt number and Reynolds number for the air side of the finned-tube and the relationship between the dimensionless correlation and the head wind velocity distribution were developed. It is found that the heat transfer performance of finned-tubes not only depends on the air flow rate of the fan, but also correlates with the head wind velocity distribution. It is propitious to heat transfer when head wind velocity reduces gradually along finned-tubes downwards.
