Abstract
Objective To investigate the bacterial distribution and antimicrobial resistance of clinical isolates from non - ICU inpatients in China. Methods Clinical isolates were collected by 149 hospitals of Mohnarin according to the unified protocol from Jan 1 to Dec 31, 2011. The susceptibilities of isolates to antibiotics were determined by CLSI 2011 guideline and the data were analyzed by WHONET 5. 6 software. Results A total of 275080 clinical isolates were collected which included 188289 gram - negative bacterial strains (68. 5% ) and 86791 gram -positive bacterial strains (31. 5% ). Escheichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoni-ae, Pseudomonas aeroginosa, Staphylococcus aureus and Acinetobacter baumannii were the most common isolates. The incidences of methicillin - resistant S. Aureus ( MRSA ) and S. Epidermidis ( MRSE ) were 54. 0% and 83. 3% , respectively. No vancomycin resistant Staphylococcus strains were found. There were 1.0% of Enterococcus faecalis and 3. 8% of En-terococcus faecium resistant to vancomycin. No linezolid resistant gram -positive bacterial strains were found. 3. 4% S. Pneumoniae were identified as penicillin resistant S. Pneumoniae ( PRSP). The ESBLs positive
rates of K. Pneumoniae and E. Coli were 61.3% and 73. 3%. The resistant rates of P. Aeniginosa and A. Baumannii to imipenem were 24. 8% and 49. 5%. Conclusion Bacterial resistance was still common according to this annual report of clinical isolates from non - ICU wards in China. Third - generation cephalosporin resistance Ertierobacteriaceae and carbarpenem or mutipledrug resistance nonfermenting gram - negative bacterial have been more and more serious challenges for healthcare management.关键词
