摘要

Abstract

With the rapid development of molecular biology , molecular systematics has been developing dramatically , which had made progress in the classification of species and been paid more and more attention . Molecular classification technology represents for a new method to aid in the identification of species , which can not only distinguish the closely related and cryptic species effectively , but also shows broad application prospect in the study of molecular classification technology in terms of population evolution ,origins and phylogenetic relationships of species . In the present paper , the progress on molecular classification of blood-sucking midges were summarized and the application of several commonly marker genes were introduced .
