Application of BALB/c Mouse as Animal Model in Research on Pathogenicity and Trans-species Transmission of Influenza A Virus
摘要
Abstract
Influenza A virus(IAV)was one of the most widespread zoonotic pathogen, and so far at least five pieces of global pandemics of human influenza had outbroken. In particular, since 1997 many events which highly pathogenic H5N1 avian IAV across the species barrier to infect people even to death had posed great threat to human. Research about the molecular mechanism of cross-species infection and pathogenicity of IAV were the fundamental for prevention and control of the diseases, and the application of mouse as an animal model for research on IAV would promote the research process. In this paper, we over-viewed the application of BALB/c mouse as an animal model in the studies on pathogenicity and trans-species transmission of IAV.关键词
