A型肉毒毒素治疗眼睑及面肌痉挛的临床研究
The efficacy of using Botox-A in the treatment of blepharospasm and hemifacial spasm

Abstract
Objective To observe the efficacy of using Botox - A in the treatment of blepharospasm (BS) and hemifacial spasm (HFS). Methods A total of 38 patients with medium and severe BS and HFS whose history lasted more than 6 months were managed with a local injection of Botox-A. Results Followed up 6 months ~ 3 years, 30 cases had a complete remission of symptoms 7 patients presented with obvious relieved spasm and the conditions of 1 patients remained unchanged. 37 cases recurred 3-4 months post injection,28 cases received injection again. No systemic toxic or side effects were found in all patients,but 20 cases(55. 6% ) have dry eyes and comeal epithelial punctate defects. Conclusions BTA local injection is a safe, effective and reliable treatment for patients with BS and HFS. But it is important to examimed the ocular surface and applied artificial tears.关键词
