Survey on Essential Drug Safety Security Measures of Primary Medical Institutions in Jiangxi Province

Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To understand the implementation of essential drug quality and safety security measures in primary medical institution of Jiangxi province, provide reference for safety of drug use in primary institution. METHODS: According to self-designed questionnaires, field investigations were performed by random sampling in pharmacies of primary medical institution and rural clinics in 93 counties (or districts) of Jiangxi province. RESULTS: The drug legal distribution rates of rural hospitals and village clinics were all 100.00% , drug safety security measures had reached the basic requirements. The rates of standard (qualified) medical institution construction had reached 90% when drug safety security measures were in place. CONCLUSION: The essential drug safety of primary medical institutions can be guaranteed by the government of Jiangxi province takes a series of effective measures. It should continue to improve the quality of supervisor and management of drugs which approximate expiry date, realize no-blind-area legal drug distribution and improve the quality of pharmacy staff to gurantee the safety of drug use in the primary institution.关键词
