Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To establish the method for the determination of encapsulation efficiency of Curcumin albumin nanosuspensions. METHODS: Centrifuging was applied to isolate free drug and the content of curcumin was determined at 422 nm by UV spectrophotometry. The encapsulation efficiency of Curcumin albumin nanosuspensions was calculated. RESULTS: Curcumin showed a good linear relationship within a range of 0.5~6.0 mg-L~'(r=:0.999 9) with an average recovery of 98.50% (RSD= 2.74% ,n=9).The encapsulation efficiency was 42.32%. CONCLUSION: The method is easy to operate, highly accurate, reliable in results and can be used for the determination of encapsulation efficiency of Curcumin albumin nanosuspensions.关键词
