Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To observe the clinical efficacy of Taohong siwu tang to prevent formation of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) in patients with tibial fractures after intramedullary nailing fixation. METHODS: 89 patients were randomly divided into treatment group (43 patients,Taohong siwu tang 150 mL,po,twice a day, consecutive 7 days) and control group (46 patients,hypodermic injection of low molecular weight heparin 4 000 U once a day, consecutive 7 days). 1 week later, vein thrombosis of lower extremities was detected by B ultrasound, the incidence of DVT, plasma level of ET and DDC were observed and determined. RESULTS: The incidence of DVT had no significant difference between 2 groups (P>0.05) and average daily cost of anticoagulation in treatment group was significantly lower than control group(P<0.05). The plasma levels of ET in 2 groups 14 days after operation was significantly lower than 3 days after operation (P< 0.05), and the plasma level of ET in treatment group was significactly lower than control group(P<0.05).CONCLUSION: Taohong siwu tang can effectively prevent the occurrence of DVT after intramedullary nailing fixation of tibial fracture and cost less.关键词
