Investigation and Analysis on Awareness and Behaviors of Drug-using Safety in Public in Guangdong Province

Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To investigate public awareness and the status quo of drug-using safety in Guangdong province and to provide reference to the health education for people's. METHODS: Used qualitative method of questionnaire to survey the general public among the Pearl River Delta Region, Eastern, Western and Northern Guangdong province to understand their drug using and behaviors. RESULTS: Public awareness of medication safety indicators before meals defined the correct rate was only 27.4%; medication do not follow the course of treatment for drug use behaviors of public safety, improved immediately discontinued, frequent dressing well aware of the adverse rate up to 80.2%. The awareness and behaviors of drug-using safety of the public are unsatisfied and the public lack the knowledge of drug-using safety. CONCLUSIONS: The public awareness of drug-using safety is weak and the behaviors are improper. Thus more knowledge of the drugs should be educated; and drug-using safety knowledge should be spread; society should undertake more responsibilities in promoting drug-using safety, ultimately enhance public awareness of drug-using safety.关键词
