Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To know the application of national essential drugs in our hospital, and to provide reference for rational use of national essential drugs. METHODS: The coverage rate, expenses proportion and DDDs of national essential drugs in our hospital from 2009 to 2011 were investigated and analyzed. RESULTS: From 2009 to 2011, the types of national essential drugs were 164, 166 and 169 in our hospital. National essential drugs used in our hospital accounted for 53.4%, 54.0% and 55.0% of National Essential Drug List; the expenses of national essential drugs were 5.531 36 million yuan, 3.390 35 million yuan and 4.390 69 million yuan; the ratio of expenses sum of national essential drugs in our hospital were 4.73%, 2.58% and 1.67%. Top 3 national essential drugs in the list of DDDs in our hospital from 2009 to 2011 were Simvastatin tablet, Salbutamol sulfate spray and Metformin hydrochloride tablet. CONCLUSIONS: Types of national essential drugs is stable relatively in our hospital during 2009-2011. The coverage rate, expenses sum and the ratio are relatively low and far from national requirements. It has yet to be deepened.关键词
