Antitumor effects of COX-2 inhibitors in combination therapy
摘要
Abstract
There is convincing epidemiological and experimental evidence demonstrating that COX-2 selective inhibitors show chemoprophylactic and chemotherapeutic potential in various tumors. Moreover, COX-2 selective inhibitors are able to influence the cytotoxicity of chemotherapeutic drugs. In this regard, COX-2 selective inhibitors in combination with chemotherapeutic drugs may present a new therapeutic strategy. The present review intends to focus on the experimental and clinical studies on COX-2 selective inhibitors in combination with chemotherapeutic drugs, analyzing the controversial results from different studies and exploring the possible related mechanisms.关键词
