Abstract
Objective To establish a HPLC method for the determination of salicylic acid and benzoic acid in compound salicylic acid Tincture. Methods The separation was performed by adopting the Phenomenex Luna C18 column (150 mm × 4. 6 mm,5 μm) and with acetonitrile - tetrahydrofuran - glacial acetic acid - water (20 : 5 : 5 : 70) as the mobile phase at the flow rate of 1.0 mL/min. The detection wavelength was 231 nm and the column temperature was 30 ℃. Results The calibration curve of salicylic acid and benzoic acid were linear within the range of 10.3-51.6 μg/mL( r =0. 999 6) and 20.0-100.0 μg/mL( r = 0.999 9),the RSD were 1.46％ and 1.36％ (n = 9) respectively. The average recovery rates were 101. 41％. Conclusion This method is simple,accurate,better specific and highly sensitive, and can simultaneously determine the contents of salicylic acid and benzoic acid in compound salicylic acid tincture.关键词
