Abstract

[ Objective ] The research aimed to provide the basis for the determination of the drip irrigation schedule in Ningxia Yellow River irrigation district. [Method] The contrast test was carried out to analyze the effects of the different drip irrigation schedule on the yield and growth characters of winter wheat and corn in Ningxia Yellow River irrigation district. [ Result] The drip irrigation increased the absorptive capability of the winter wheat on the water and nutrition. The yield and plant height of winter wheat and com were increased with the increasing irrigation and irrigated times. In comparison with the flood irrigation, the yield and thousand kernel weight of winter wheat with the drip fertiga-tion were more than 14.0% and 11. 64% , respectively, and the irrigation amount and fertilizer amount were lower than 63.2% and 55. 1 % , respectively. The yield and thousand kernel weight of corn with the drip fertigation were more than 35. 10% and 17.42% , respectively,and the irrigation amount and fertilizer amount were lower than 55. 5% and 50. 1 % , respectively. [ Conclusion ] 190 and 200 m3/hm2 should be taken as the reference to make the irrigation program of the winter wheat and corn respectively in Yellow River irrigation district.
