摘要

Abstract

Magnetic field distribution of magnetic fluid sealing structure with the large sealing gap changed from 0. 4mm to 0. 8mm and the influence of the magnet amount on the sealing property are studied by the finite element method. The effect of large gap height on magnetic fluid seal with multiple magnetic source is studied by experimental method. The calculated results are analyzed and discussed, which show that the sealing property of multiple magnetic fluid sealing structure with large gap increases with the decrease of sealing gaps and the sealing structure with multiple magnetic source can significantly improve the magnetic fluid sealing capability. The magnetic flux leakage at the joint of magnet and pole piece and part of magnets which are not fully used result in the nonlinear relationship between the sealing property of the multiple magnetic fluid sealing structure and the sealing property of magnetic fluid sealing structure with single magnet.
